About us

 The name of our Association, as registered with the Registrar of Co-operative Societies, is ‘HSR (Sector-1) Welfare Association’. This is a Non-Governmental organization for social service.

We represent to various authorities of BBMP, Government and other agencies on behalf of the members of the Association.

The Association is managed by an Executive committee comprising of 11 members elected by the members of the association, for a 2 years term each time.

There are five Office bearers - a President, a Vice President, a Secretary, a Joint Secretary and a Treasurer, who are elected by the Executive committee members, two Advisers and four Executive committee members. Apart from this there are six co-opted Su-committee members. 

All the Office bearers, Executive committee members and Sub-committee members come with significant experience in different fields. These people have aptitude to love few things more than just making money, like doing social service, creating awareness on civic responsibilities etc. They provide free service in the Association without taking any remuneration.


OBJECTIVES

 The main objective of this Welfare Association is to work towards the common wellbeing and welfare of all residents in the layout.

 

VSION

 Together we strive for holistic development of our area and make it a model layout.

Together we build a caring community with Self-sufficiency, Dignity, Harmony, Satisfaction, Happiness and Peace.

 

MISSION

 We are dedicated to liaison and work closely with members of the Association, Government and other Civic bodies and other relevant Organizations for the improvement of out layout and welfare and wellbeing of our members.

We take up matters with the competent authorities related to common concerns of the residents for providing and or improving upon common civic amenities or facilities in the area like – Water, electricity and gas supplies, roads, drainage, street-lights, parks, matters effecting health & hygiene, garbage clearance, bus services facilities, etc.

Make correspondence, arrange meetings, represent and discuss issues with the concerned authorities, in a lawful manner.

Arrange and conduct social and cultural functions on some occasions.

Disseminate information about BBMP and Government rules, policies, notifications, etc. among the members of the association, relevant at the time.
